Getting back with your ex may be your first goal after a devastating break up. Before you lose your sanity trying to come up with ways to win him back, figure out if he still wants you.

I believe this will be an emotional time for you. Take extra attention to make sure you do the wise thing. Do not waste your time spinning your wheels. Focus on repairing your broken heart. Access your current situation without any biased attitude.

Sign #1 - Letting Go Is not Easy

Never think that only you will be angry in the separation. Your ex who have started the breakup could be as depressed as you.

If he still try to contact you online or send messages to you, it is a good indication that he still love you. He may be not ready to cut all ties with you after all.

Sign # 2 - A Little Attention, Please?

Does your ex still want your attention in person even though he or she has ended the relationship? If so, this is a clear indication that he still need you even if he or she does not admit. But note that you have just broken up and so do take things slowly.

Just because he still want to talk to you does not mean that both of you are ready to unite with each other. Ask for some time to to allow your relationship with your ex to be rebuilt first.

Sign #3 - Following Through

Is he making changes that are exactly the things you used to argue about? Did a mutual friend comment that he has stopped smoking or started exercising?

Maybe your ex is trying to become a more desirable mate for you and that is why your ex is taking the effort and time to change. If you notice that he is making good on old broken promises, this is quite a strong sign that he wants to win you back.
